OK so I’m doing good so far with school this quarter, haven’t missed classes or things of that nature. I have a schedule down with my fiance, we have a weekly crepe day where we meet on campus and order crepes together. I find it cute.

I need to find a creative drive though,because this is what….the 5th time Ive come ‘back’ to being productive, I don’t know whats going on bout that but still, it should be done.

I am trying to keep a journal we will see how that goes, not very inspired to write in it.

I’m taking an acting class, should be an ‘easy’ A or at least some fun in my remainingg time in college. I am also taking a couple ethics courses, one in respect to the apocalypse and the other in general but an emphasis on applied political systems.

My word processor [Abiword] seems to be tweaking out and underlineing a bunch of stuff but never telling me why it is being undelined. Minor drawback of linux.

So yea, I have a little EEE PC which i fin quite fantastic, I have an ubuntu distro called olicloud, which is supposd to be the most optimized for cloud computing relieing mostly on web apps, but I got around that with the terminal and installed some of my won desires. Like Geany and Eclipse and Chrome. I need to find some programming projects to work on.

ok so I’ve been Driving myself crazy with my overall lack of productivity, so today, i finally did something, I revamped my wordpress theme, I know it doesn’t look like much of an improvement but believe me it is. Cleaned up a great deal and now everything seems to be working. I am going to make my own photo galleries and need to fix my rss parser from deviant art, so it is all still a work in progress.

Yeah there is not much I can say. I am very disappointed in myself for barely starting several projects let alone not finishing them. I need to get on that. I haven’t posted any pictures sine the summer and have barly taken any. I made a new theme for my website but never finished or implemented it. There are a few programs I would like to write and several emails to send out. I just need to be productive for a while and am excited about the prospect. Which is good, I only hope that this feeling lingers long enough for me to actually make somethig.
I bought a new desktop the other day and made it just the way I like it. I really enjoyed that.
Nikki the love of my life has been supporting me and trying to get it through mythick skull that I need to be productive and I think I might actually achieve that, so let’s see how it goes

My First 3d Image

I’ve recently decided I’m going to try to make a game, and from what i’ve discovered is that a game engine essentially moves images around and intereacts with them, so in order to do anything usefull with a game engine, I need to be able to make images, 3d images specifically.

This is my very first image done in 3d using open source Blender.

alrighty the pics of camp are up and all is well, save for the fact that I hate my photo gallery software, I’m just about ready to start making my own galleries, just for fun.
Supposedly Flickr is a good photo sharing site, but it seems to be a bit off and non custom. Which I’m not a big fan of. Like seriously, if you have a product, and you want other people to use it, let them use it the way they want to. Sure you can give guidelines or preferences, but you should by no means limit what your consumers can do with your product, once they buy it, its theirs, it is no longer your concern.
I’m not saying to necessarily provide the functionality in you product that everyone wants, but if someone decides to use it in a way you didn’t think about, why should you go out of your way to prevent such uses? It stifles innovation (assuming your product is a good one *cough iphone cough*) and can actually narrow your market scope, so I fail to see the point other than to be a domineering control freak over your product. Unless it is a piece of art and you get upset that someone smashes it with a hammer then makes a mosaic, I dont see how you can complain.

Yes this is a stab at apple because there is “the mac way” which I have never been a fan of, I mean sure the system may work, but there are those time I want to search itunes by the filepath or import my album art from another source, or even ditch itunes altogether, or use a piece of software that is neither MS Office nor adobe, I want to be able to downgrade if the ‘upgrade’ is not as hot as I thought. And goddammit I want to right click. (albeit that that last part is incorporated on most hardware, the mouse is still oddly shaped)

The iphone

So with the recent price drop of the iphone I was able to obtain one since there was nothing able to compete with it. Especially at that price.
So needless to say I fell in love with it already and I can maintain my cloud from anywhere with wifi or cell phone service.
